Description

The Centre for Psychiatric Research (CPF) is a collaboration between the Stockholm County Council (SLSO) and the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet (KI). CPF is responsible for conducting and developing research, teaching, and development within clinical psychiatry in Stockholm County. We currently have approximately 500 employees distributed between SLSO and KI.

The Competence Centre for Psychotherapy (KCP) is a unit for education, quality assurance, development, and research within the area of psychological assessment and treatment at the Centre for Psychiatric Research (CPF). Our office and training facilities are located at Norra Stationsgatan 69.

KCP is organized with an overall unit manager and two group managers. The position is a two-year managerial appointment; you remain permanently employed in your clinical role. There are good prospects for extension for the right person.

Responsibilities

As a Group Manager, you will lead and distribute the work within one of two work groups within KCP. You will also assist the Unit Manager at KCP in matters concerning the organization's mission and economy. You will work together with KCP's staff to provide high-quality education, both state-funded and commissioned training for the needs of psychiatry.

In addition to being part of the KCP management team, your work includes pedagogical tasks as well as development and quality assurance work. The distribution and focus of these parts of your work will be based on your competence profile and in consultation with the Unit Manager at KCP.

Qualifications

We are looking for a collaborative person with a scientifically grounded view of psychological treatment and psychotherapy. Therefore, having a PhD in the field of psychotherapy/psychological treatment is advantageous, and we assume you have an academic healthcare education. Leadership experience, experience working with psychotherapy education at the university level and/or clinical research, as well as experience in clinical work, are also considered advantageous.

We are looking for someone with good leadership qualities, where independence, good communication skills, sensitivity, and flexibility are important. We also value good teamwork skills and the ability to create an open working climate, participation, and engagement.

Conditions

The position is a two-year managerial appointment; you remain permanently employed in your clinical role.

Interviews will be held on June 23 and 24.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

In patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council:

- Register checks are applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's general guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
