Nacka Strand Upper Secondary School is an independent upper secondary school with approximately 490 students and 40 employees. Here, you will meet a stable and dedicated staff group, where the collegial community is strong and the development of teaching is ongoing.

About the Position

We are looking for an engaged and qualified teacher in Spanish and English on a part-time basis, 86%, with a start date in August 2026. A subject combination of Spanish/Swedish is also possible.

In the role of a teacher here, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on teaching with high ambitions for quality, structure, and goal achievement. You will be part of an active program team and are expected to participate in the school's systematic quality work.

The position also includes mentorship for a group of students, where you are an important adult figure in the students' schooling and a contact person for guardians.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher with qualifications in Spanish and English (possibly Swedish) for upper secondary school.
• Has clear classroom leadership and the ability to create safety, study peace, and engagement.
• Teaches formatively, differentiated, and inclusively, with clear structure and high expectations.
• Sees student participation as a natural part of the learning process and builds relationships with students with engagement and clarity.
• Is solution-focused, flexible, and egalitarian in working together with colleagues.
• Has good digital competence, especially within learning platforms and AI-based tools for teaching, or wishes to actively develop these skills.
• Thrives in a development-oriented environment where everyone contributes to the school's common goals.
