Job Description

We work in small care units with 6–7 patients, where the team around the patient consists of doctors, specialist nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, dietitians, and physiotherapists.

During the day, there is also a coordinator who supports the operations. Together, we create a secure and person-centered care where every patient is seen and taken care of based on their individual needs.

As a nursing assistant with us, you have an important and appreciated role. You are responsible for ensuring that care maintains high quality and that patients feel safe, seen, and well cared for.

You work closely with both patients and colleagues and contribute to a positive work climate where we help each other, support one another, and are quick to laugh.

The position involves rotation between day and evening shifts, and potentially also night work. We know how important it is to have a good start, so the introduction is adapted to your needs and experience, usually lasting about three to four weeks. Our ambition is for you to feel secure, welcome, and a natural part of the team from day one.

Here, there is an opportunity to develop in your professional role and take on your own areas of responsibility if you wish.

We work with preference scheduling to create as good a balance as possible between work and leisure, with the goal of working two weekends out of five. Scheduling is done easily via Tessa on a computer or mobile phone.

About You

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant. Experience in urological or surgical care is meritorious, as is experience with stoma care – but most importantly for us is who you are as a person. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We believe that you are caring, responsible, and enjoy working closely with both patients and colleagues. You have a positive attitude, enjoy teamwork, and want to contribute to a workplace where we take care of each other just as well as our patients.

We offer a fixed-term position until August 31, 2027, with a possible extension.

In the long term, there is also an opportunity for rotation to our urological outpatient clinic at the University Hospital.
