We are now looking for a nurse for our dialysis clinic in Norrköping for a permanent position.

Our offer

The Medicine Clinic and LAH is a specialist internal medicine clinic with two wards, several specialist clinics, and a dialysis unit. Here, lung diseases, diabetes, endocrine diseases, kidney diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, stroke, and blood diseases are investigated and treated.

We also provide specialist palliative care and advanced home nursing care around the clock for patients with tumor diseases and other chronic conditions requiring extensive medical interventions. Patient involvement, respect for individual privacy, and high patient safety are important ingredients in our operations.

The nephrology unit in Norrköping is an outpatient service where the main task is to investigate and treat patients with kidney disease and to treat patients with chronic kidney failure. The unit consists of a hemodialysis clinic, a coordinator clinic, a nephrology clinic, a peritoneal dialysis (PD) clinic, and a transplant clinic.

The dialysis clinic is characterized by high competence among staff and a good level of nursing care. Furthermore, the unit is characterized by dedicated employees, good cohesion, an open working climate, and a culture where we support and help each other. It is important to us that new employees feel welcome, so we are keen to provide a good introduction to give the right conditions for being new to the operations.

You are offered a ten-week introduction as well as competence development through both external and internal training within nephrology. After a successful introduction and having completed 500 dialyses (which corresponds to approximately one year), your employment will be converted from a registered nurse to a nurse with a special function in dialysis, which also includes a salary increase of 2,000 SEK/month.

Job Description

Work at the dialysis unit is varied, where nursing care is integrated with technology. We actively work to improve the care and nursing we offer our patients. An important part of the work is to try to get our patients involved in their care and treatment. Our patients belong to the eastern part of the county and travel to the hospital for treatment three to four times a week. During a work shift, there are four to six nurses and one to two assistant nurses who share patient responsibility.

Work Group

We who work here are a group of happy and positive colleagues consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, dietitians, and biomedical engineers. Cooperation and job satisfaction are a matter of course. The unit is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 07:00–16:00. Tuesday and Thursday from 07:00–20:00. Saturday from 07:00–14:30 and Sunday from 12:30–20:00.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, with or without experience. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are self-reliant, decisive, and structured. You have the ability to organize your work and prioritize what needs to be done. You have good cooperation skills and are sensitive and flexible in your way of meeting other people. You contribute to a good working climate and have a positive and professional attitude. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
