Your Role

You will belong to the Installation Unit, which is part of the Customer-Close Facilities department within the Heat and Cooling business area. Within the unit, we are responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of customer centers for district heating, gas, and district cooling. We also perform inspections of natural gas installations.

Your main tasks will involve working with service, troubleshooting, and optimization of heating systems. You will work with corrective maintenance in the technical systems and installations of buildings, and assist customers with energy optimization.

The focus of our work is to ensure that the facilities are continuously in good working order and safe operating condition. To achieve this, you will also handle fault reports and be part of the unit's on-call team.

You will have contact and collaborate with other units within Göteborg Energi and, if necessary, external contractors.

In addition to operational work, you will also participate in various consultation groups, development projects, and improvement forums.

Your Team

You will belong to the Installation Unit, which consists of 14 employees. The unit is led by Håkan Andersson. Here is how Håkan describes his view of the team and the assignment:

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with experience in electrical installations, plumbing, and soldering. In addition to substantial experience in installation work, we want you to be accustomed to working with private customers. Previous experience working with district heating, gas, or cooling is valuable.

We prefer that you have a technical degree, but we also welcome applicants who have acquired competence through relevant long-term work experience.

In this role, it is important that you are self-motivated, have good collaboration skills, and thrive when tasks vary. You are service-oriented and quality-conscious. You are handy and solve the various challenges and situations you encounter at work – either independently or in consultation with your colleagues. You have good communication skills in Swedish.

To move between different customers and facilities, you need a valid Category B driver's license. Having a Category BE license is an advantage.
