We are looking for a nurse who wants to work in a fantastic team with us at the Breast Clinic.

About the role

As a contact nurse, you are a key person for the patient on their journey through care. As a contact nurse, you prepare for and participate in multidisciplinary conferences, as well as plan and book operations. You provide preoperative information and conduct your own patient follow-ups. You collaborate closely with doctors and assistant nurses in the team and are involved in development work. You are also responsible for the Breast Clinic's telephone advice, together with the other nurses at the clinic. You contribute to continuous improvements and development.

Your future workplace

Breast cancer care in the Region of Jönköping County has been consolidated at Ryhov County Hospital since 2016. The Breast Clinic investigates, diagnoses, and treats breast-related diseases. We work with standardized care pathways (SVF) in close collaboration with other units involved in breast cancer care.

What we look for

We value a positive attitude, good teamwork skills, and an empathetic approach with the patient at the center. We also look for someone who can work independently, make their own assessments, is structured, and can adapt to changing circumstances. Experience working with breast cancer patients is an advantage. Personal suitability is highly valued.
