Dependency Center Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and assistance to people who have problems with alcohol, drugs, medication, or gambling. Our operations include acute and inpatient care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized care. We are also a clinic that provides university healthcare as well as research and education.
The Workplace
The Liljeholmen Addiction Clinic receives adult patients with harmful use and dependence on alcohol, drugs, medication, and gambling. We focus heavily on comorbidity, which is why our work is integrated and conducted in collaboration with social services, psychiatry, the prison service, primary care, and other healthcare partners.
Here, a cross-professional and tightly knit team consisting of nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, psychologists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, rehab coordinators, and unit managers work together. We are centrally located in Liljeholmen with excellent transport connections.
The Role
As a receptionist, you are the face of the clinic and the first person to greet our patients. As a receptionist, you are responsible for welcoming and registering our patients. You handle incoming referrals, mail, telephone calls, minor orders, and other administrative tasks that may arise during the day. The work schedule is Monday – Friday.
Qualifications
- Completed upper secondary education
- Communicative, structured, flexible, and possess good teamwork skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English
Previous experience in reception within healthcare and familiarity with the system "Take Care" are meritorious but not required.

Dependency Center Stockholm offers various benefits such as flexible working hours, subsidized outpatient healthcare, a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK, and one wellness hour per week for full-time employment.
Employment Terms
Fixed-term contract for one year, starting at the end of August 2026.
Full-time 39.5 hours/week
Dependency Center Stockholm applies alcohol and drug testing as well as extracts from the suspicion and criminal record register upon new employment.
The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
In patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council healthcare area:
- register checks are applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
