Do you want to work with vehicle performance and energy consumption simulation in an international development environment? Here you will contribute to the next generation of vehicle architecture.

You will work closely with the development of next-generation vehicles and help balance energy consumption, range, and performance. This role is ideal for those who wish to combine 1D simulation with analysis, verification, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

About the role

• You will work with simulation and analysis at the component, system, and vehicle levels.
• You will support the development of energy-efficient solutions without compromising performance.
• You will collaborate with multiple technical teams to translate simulation results into decisions.

What you will do

• Build and further develop 1D models for vehicle performance and energy balance.
• Analyze trade-offs between energy consumption, range, and dynamics.
• Support and verify results with physical testing when necessary.
• Contribute to early concept studies and vehicle architecture selection.

We are looking for someone with

• A Master's degree in mechanics, physics, energy, automotive engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in CAE within vehicle development.
• Good understanding of hybrid and electric powertrains as well as battery systems.
• Ability to analyze and communicate results to various stakeholders.
• Experience with both simulation and, preferably, physical testing.
