Are you a qualified electrician or do you have a corresponding electrical background and want to work with advanced troubleshooting in an industrial environment? Konecranes is now looking for a service technician in Gothenburg where you will work with service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment for some of the region's largest industrial customers.

Your responsibilities
Here, you will become a key person in an engaged team of electricians and mechanics who together service our customers' cranes, gates, and lifting equipment. Most of the work takes place out in the field where the action is!

You will be working with:

• Preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting
• Repairs
• Assembly and installation of new products

As a service technician, you are the face of Konecranes, which means you have a lot of contact with our customers. You provide them with security, quality, and good solutions, and sometimes even a really good day.

You work in modern systems with access to the market's best tools, processes, and technical support. Some on-call duty is included, and you report to our Operations Manager. Security clearance may be required for certain assignments. You work in the Gothenburg area, from Stenungssund to Kungsbacka. Overnight stays are rare but may occur during larger projects.

Who are you?
We believe you have previous experience from the industry or the service sector. You need to have good electrical knowledge, as a qualified electrician, and be able to read electrical diagrams. The job is often a mix of electrical and mechanical work, so you should enjoy both.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An electrical education (e.g., electrician or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of reading electrical diagrams
• Category B driver's license (this is a must - you travel between customers)
• Experience from service work, preferably in industry or similar
• A sharp nose for troubleshooting and maintenance
• Good Swedish in speech and writing, as well as English.
• Some mechanical experience - meritorious
• Perhaps worked with lifting equipment or gates previously

Personal qualities
Since you are often the customer's first contact with Konecranes, we would like you to enjoy taking responsibility, be service-oriented, and dare to suggest improvements. You are likely someone who likes to find solutions, take initiative, and make a difference for both the team and the customer. We are looking for someone who is self-reliant, responsible, and has a business drive; perhaps you have previously run your own business or worked in a one-person company.
