We are now welcoming a Full Stack Developer to the regional archives' e-archiving function.

The Unit for Regional Archives is part of the Information Area, which holds a cross-organizational coordinating responsibility for matters concerning Region Skåne's business information. The area acts as the executive archive authority under the Regional Board and employs over 140 staff. The operations cover both strategic and operational functions in Region Skåne's central information supply, based on our management system for business information (LVI). Standard setting, information management, scanning, diary registration, e-archiving, depot operations, and document management are some of our areas of work.

Job Responsibilities

As a system developer here, you will work with full-stack development in a cross-functional agile team consisting of system developers, informaticians, and archivists. The focus of the work is the regional e-archive, which includes both the delivery of digital information from operations and the development of the archive platform.

The development of the e-archive will have a significant impact on Region Skåne as a data-driven organization for a long time to come. Within the framework of the e-archive, we also build on a number of microservices that are shared with other services and systems. Since this may involve sensitive information, security and availability are of utmost importance. We use the latest tech stacks and have developed most of the solution from scratch.

Selected responsibilities:

• Full-stack development in C#/.NET.
• Analysis of relational databases and data models in source systems to determine which data should be extracted from a source system to deliver information to the e-archive.
• Creation of SQL views and logic for data extraction while maintaining context from the source system.
• Building pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading of data (ETL) between source systems and the archive platform.
• Development of data warehouses and user interfaces for searching and visualizing archived information.
• Development and integration of REST-based APIs and microservices.
• Working with large datasets and complex, sometimes undocumented systems.

The role is located in Malmö, but since your main collaborators are based in Lund, you will also work partially from our premises at Medicon Village in Lund.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role, we see that you have good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written.

Additionally, you have experience and/or knowledge in:

• Full-stack development in C#/.NET.
• Frontend development in React, Angular, Blazor, or equivalent.
• SQL Server and T-SQL.
• REST APIs and system integration.
• Container-based development.
• GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.
• Unit testing (xUnit or similar).

It is meritorious if you have experience in:

• Public sector operations and digital archives (e.g., RODA/ETERNA).
• Working with very large datasets (multi-terabyte).
• Data transformation (XML, XSLT, JSON) and ETL flows.
• Archive and interoperability standards (SIARD, FHIR).
• Reverse engineering of databases without documentation.
• Asynchronous and parallel programming in .NET.
• Kubernetes.
• OpenShift.
• Entity Framework and SSMS.
• JavaScript (incl. jQuery).
