About the Account Manager Role
In the role of Account Manager within Factory Automation, you are responsible for developing and deepening relationships with existing and new customers within industrial automation, with a special focus on machine builders (OEM) in your district.
You drive the entire sales process from identifying customer needs and technical possibilities to offering solutions and following up on the business over time. A large part of the business is built on long-term relationships where SCN's components are integrated into customers' machines, thereby creating recurring business over many years.
You work closely with internal resources such as product managers and technical sales support to ensure the customer gets the right solution. The role involves a high customer focus and great independence in planning your work.
Your district stretches from Stockholm through the Mälaren Valley down to Linköping, where you are responsible for both existing and new customers.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships within industry and automation.
- Identify and drive new business opportunities.
- Offer and sell technical solutions and products within Factory Automation, such as sensors, industrial computers, HMI, frequency converters, and other components.
- Work with both existing customers and new customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with product managers and technical sales support to create the right solution for the customer.
About You
We are looking for you who have experience in technical B2B sales and thrive in a role where you combine business acumen with technical understanding. You have a strong drive to develop business and build long-term relationships with customers.
You are structured and disciplined in your approach and have the ability to plan and prioritize your time to achieve set goals. The role requires you to be self-motivated, curious, and business-oriented, while also enjoying collaborating with colleagues and internal resources.
You are motivated by creating business over time where you not only sell a product but become a long-term partner to the customer.
Requirements for the Role
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Experience working independently.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills and experience with Office packages and CRM systems.
- Ability to travel within the region.
Merits
- Experience from the automation industry or sales to machine builders (OEM).
- Experience from players within automation, such as distributors or suppliers of automation components.
- Experience in solution-oriented technical sales.
