Are you ready for a new challenge and eager to try something new? We are now looking for a licensed nurse to join our team in Bredaryd.

The position is a fixed-term contract (substitute), as we want to test increased staffing and develop our way of working. The role is flexible, and we will jointly adjust the structure and content of the work based on the operational needs and your strengths.

There are good opportunities for permanent employment after the substitute period ends.

We are looking for a licensed nurse who wants to become part of our dedicated team in Bredaryd and Forsheda. The position is primarily located within specialized housing and home care in Bredaryd, but also involves working together with our team in Forsheda.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you are responsible for health and medical care interventions within municipal healthcare. You work with both planned and acute interventions for patients of different ages and with varying care needs.

You make independent medical assessments, perform treatments, and take necessary measures. The tasks vary from common interventions such as medication management, blood sampling, and wound care, to more advanced procedures such as dialysis, infusions, tracheostomy care, CVK/venous ports, and drainage.

As support in your work, specialist competence is available within palliative advanced care, wound care, and psychiatry. You also have access to our methodology center, where training is held and where you can renew and deepen your knowledge.

You work closely with colleagues in a team-oriented way of working where the goal is always to create the best possible quality for those we serve. The role requires that you can work independently, make your own decisions, and meet people with sensitivity, empathy, and a holistic view.

The work is mainly during daytime, but some evening and weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in the role as a nurse in Värnamo Municipality, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are calm, secure, and stable, and you easily create a positive and trusting atmosphere around you. You are sensitive and empathetic and have a natural ability to collaborate both internally and externally.

You are skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work in an independent and efficient manner. Patient participation and close collaboration with relatives are seen by you as a natural part of good care.

We Offer

When you start your substitute position, you will be assigned a supervisor who will introduce you to the operations. The introduction period is adapted individually based on your previous experience and knowledge.

You will also be assigned an experienced mentor who is available for support, questions, and guidance throughout your introduction and further into the work.

Conditions

A valid Category B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement.

Appointment according to agreement and after required decisions.
