Job Description

As a Category Procurement Manager, you will have a strategic key role in our procurement team. You will be responsible for developing and leading our procurement categories, contributing to making procurement a natural and value-creating part of the business.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement category plans and strategies.
• Manage framework agreements and build long-term supplier relationships.
• Conduct tenders for materials, services, and contracts.
• Lead change and contribute to the development of processes, working methods, and tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues in engineering, project management, and other commercial functions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we look for:

• Post-secondary education.
• Relevant theoretical education in fields such as engineering, economics, procurement, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in category-based procurement and change management.
• Experience with tendering within contract forms such as NL17, NLM19, AB, ABT, and AMA.
• Good negotiation skills and experience from complex organizations.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience leading the development and implementation of category strategies, processes, and IT systems.
• Leadership experience in roles such as team leader or project manager.
• Experience from the energy sector or similar industries.
