Härjedalen Municipality and the joint school health service need to recruit school nurses to the schools in western Härjedalen.

As a school nurse, you will have a central and important role in the school's student health work, contributing your medical competence. You are part of the combined school health service where you, together with educators and other staff in the school health team, work across professions to create the best conditions for students' health, development, and learning.

One of the two positions requires that necessary decisions have been made.

Responsibilities

As a school nurse, you work at the individual, group, and school unit levels and contribute actively to the school's cross-professional forums.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Offering and conducting health talks, health visits, and vaccinations according to national guidelines and the established national base program.
• Working to promote and prevent issues related to students' health, both physical, mental, and social.
• Being available for open reception.
• Providing guidance and consultation to the school's other staff.
• Continuously and structured collaboration with other professions in the school health service as well as educators at the school.
• Cooperating with external actors and authorities.
• Building relationships with students and collaborating with students and guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with one of the following further educations:

• Specialist Nurse Education in Health and Care for Children (75 hp).
• District Nurse (75 hp).
• School Nurse Program (60 hp).

A Category B driver's license is required for the position as you need to travel by car between the schools.

In the event of employment, a police certificate of good conduct must be presented.
