About the job

This autumn, we will take over responsibility for waste collection in Tyresö, with Tyresö Municipality as the client and partner. The assignment will be based out of our new depot in Högdalen.

As an environmental worker, you play a key role in the company. You are Verdis's face to the public and one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Tyresö clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You report to the local management.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Collection and transport of waste
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance of vehicles and superstructures

Who are you? We are looking for you who have a Category C driver's license and YKB and who master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

The following experience and skills are considered meritorious:

• Experience driving heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of heavy vehicles
• Experience in some form of waste collection
• Local knowledge (within Tyresö)

Start: As soon as possible.
Employment type and scope: Permanent, full-time (probationary period applies).
Working hours: We operate Monday to Friday with working hours starting at 06:00.
