About Us

The Folktandvården clinic in Ronneby covers approximately 10,900 registered patients, of whom approximately 5,700 are adults and approximately 5,200 are children. The clinic has 13 treatment rooms. Part of the clinic (3 rooms) is a supervision clinic, which is part of the Ronneby clinic.

16 employees work at the clinic: 4 dentists, 2 dental hygienists, and 8 dental nurses. The clinic also has 1 administrative coordinator who serves as management and administrative support.

Planned expansion of staff, all professional categories.

The supervision clinic has a head supervisor and a supervisor who are specifically linked to this part of the operations.

About the Job

The clinic provides pediatric and adolescent dental care, adult dental care, and operations within the framework of Folktandvården's population and public health responsibility. As the clinic has a significant pediatric mandate, it has a profile with special competence in pediatric and adolescent dental care. The clinic has close cooperation with the specialist dental pediatric clinic.

The clinic also has a specific mandate to develop health-promoting and preventive measures for better oral health within the catchment area in collaboration with, among others, the child health service. Dental care is part of the establishment of a family center in Ronneby.

The supervision clinic constitutes a common resource for general dental care regarding education and supervision of licensed personnel.

As Department Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing, and driving the clinic's operations in accordance with set goals. The assignment includes overall responsibility for working environment, economy, personnel, and operations. The Department Manager role is combined with clinical work in your core profession according to an agreed extent.

The position reports directly to the Operations Manager. As Department Manager, you are part of the general dental management group and work for collaboration and coordination of general dental operations with the aim of offering good and equal dental care to the people of Blekinge.

The management group also includes the Dental Management Responsible Dentist.

In the position of Department Manager, you have a managerial appointment. You have a core position in your profession, permanent/full-time within Folktandvården in Blekinge.

Region Blekinge mobilizes all permanent staff for wartime duties. Some of our positions are security-classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About You

For the position, it is required that you are a practicing dentist and that you have managerial experience or experience of leadership assignments. Leadership training is meritorious.
