Your Role

We have launched a new brand team – Brand Embassy – and as Project Manager for Brand Partnerships & Projects, you will become a key player in this team. Here you will have a central role in our exciting journey where we together set the strategy and structure for our branding work. Your assignment is as fun as it is important: putting the customer in absolute focus, driving growth, and strengthening our brand position.

Based on national and international strategies, you help shape the future of our commercial brand, Lidl Sweden – a role that also covers parts of our brand portfolio, such as our brand Matriket.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic partnerships and ambassador collaborations: You drive the process for our local collaborations – from sourcing and selection to negotiation, contracts, and onboarding.
  • Cross-functional coordination: You work closely with various departments both nationally and internationally to ensure that all partnerships align with our strategies and strengthen our brand awareness.
  • Project Management: You lead various types of projects related to our branding work – from start to finish – with broad contact areas in different parts of the organization as well as with external partners and agencies.
  • Internal advisory and quality assurance: You act as an internal sounding board for national sponsorship activations and ensure the quality of the implementation of our strategic partnerships and ambassador collaborations.
  • Relationship building: You build and develop strong relationships with existing and potential partners, and support locally in our international collaborations.
  • Analysis and follow-up: You monitor and report brand-related KPIs for both physical and digital channels, based on market research and customer insights.

In your role, you report to the Head of Brand Embassy.

Your Profile

To succeed in the role, you are an unpretentious and humble team player who has a natural ability to get your colleagues on board. You have high social competence and move smoothly between internal stakeholders and external partners. Furthermore, you are driven by combining customer insights with soft creativity – you have an analytical mind but understand how insights are best converted into a communicative purpose that strengthens the brand.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least 3 years of experience in strategic branding, marketing, and communication where partnerships and ambassador collaborations have been a central part.
  • Experience in successfully driving cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with brand KPIs, market trends, and brand analysis, as well as the ability to convert these into concrete commercial strategies and activities.
  • An academic degree in e.g., marketing or communication, or equivalent work experience that we assess as relevant.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is a big plus if you also speak German.
