Chef de Cuisine Wanted at Smygehus Havsbad

Smygehus Havsbad is the charming hotel with great food located at the southernmost tip of Sweden. Here you are always close to nature and the sea; we have our own beach meadow and bathing jetty! All our conference rooms have sea views, and when you check into our hotel, you receive your own house near the beach. We have recently built 14 new hotel rooms, 10 of which feature sea views. We also offer a gym, pool, sauna, spa treatments, and yoga. The facility is open 7 days a week.

We are looking for someone with a sparkle in their eye and service in their heart. Key qualities for this role include thriving in an environment with varied tasks, being flexible, and solution-oriented. You handle stressful situations with calmness and prioritize tasks effectively.

Your Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a chef.
• Formal culinary education.
• Stress-resistant and capable of juggling multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and a good team player.
• Flexible and pedagogical in approach.
• Passionate about your profession.

About the Role

We are seeking a chef to join our team. We prepare all food from scratch using seasonal ingredients. The position involves independent work in the hot kitchen. We are a team that works across boundaries, thinking in a solution-oriented and creative manner.

Preferred Experience

We would appreciate experience in a similar role. Experience in a la carte dining is a plus. You should have a sense for taste, service, and quality. As a person, you are positive, proactive, attentive to guests' needs, and flexible—you step in wherever needed.
