With us, you have the most fun part-time job that gives you the opportunity to inspire and motivate children to dance activities. You will gain valuable experience and qualifications in leadership and group management.

Dance, play, and spread joy to the children. It doesn't get much more fun than this! The job is also perfect to combine with studies or other commitments.

⭐ We at Active Academy are now looking for leaders for FunkyKidz! ⭐

We are looking for you who:

• Love working with children.
• Have rhythm and timing naturally in your body and love dancing.
• Have experience leading activities for children, preferably younger children. Alternatively, you have a long sports background and have been a leader for children in other contexts (e.g., preschool, school, or babysitting).
• Show great commitment to creating joy in movement for the participating children.

As a person, you are confident and secure in yourself.

🎯What is FunkyKidz? ⭐

At FunkyKidz, we mix dance and play in a playful and fun way.

We work from a pre-planned session structure, meaning all choreographies and games are carefully planned. As a leader, you can then focus all your energy on spreading wonderful dance joy!

As a leader, you will receive coaching during the term, participate in a leadership training, and become part of a fantastic leadership team with over 300 leaders.

You will simply have the most fun part-time job that gives you experience and qualifications in working with children's groups.

📅Info about the employment:

• Hourly employment.
• The work takes place during autumn 2026, starting in week 35.
• We are looking for leaders in two areas in Umeå:
  Umeå Energi Arena, Saturdays 09:30–11:30
  Folkets hus Obbola, Sundays 15:00–17:00
• Scope: approx. 2–4 hours/week.

🌟QUALIFICATIONS: It is an advantage if you are studying to be (or are already a) preschool teacher or have similar education. You have preferably studied the aesthetic program in high school, worked as a group training instructor, or have other dance training. However, this is not a requirement to apply – the right personality is what matters most.
