Your Responsibilities

As an Automation Engineer, you work with development, technical analysis, requirement specification, and design of electrical and automation solutions within our operations. You are a key technical person in ensuring that our control and automation systems are efficient, safe, and future-proof – from a high-level system perspective to concrete projects in the transmission and distribution networks.

You will primarily work with:

• Technical analysis, development, and evaluation of automation solutions
• Requirement specification and system design within PLC, SCADA, and industrial control systems
• PLC programming, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Work with SCADA systems, industrial networks, and communication protocols
• Engineering and design within electrical and automation fields
• Creation and interpretation of electrical and control diagrams
• Development and standardization of technical guidelines and solutions
• Ensuring systems meet requirements according to legislation and standards
• Contributing to the development of new facilities, injection points, and network solutions
• Supporting operations with technical expertise and troubleshooting as needed

Most of the work takes place from the office, but the role may also involve field work. The position is located at our office in Malmö or Gothenburg. We apply a hybrid work model where you have the opportunity to work from home two days a week.

Our Expectations

We are looking for you who:

• Are a Civil Engineer or University College Engineer in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or have equivalent experience
• Have at least 5 years of experience working with automation solutions in process industry, energy, infrastructure, or similar operations
• Have experience with PLC programming, preferably in Siemens TIA Portal
• Have knowledge of SCADA systems, industrial networks, and communication
• Have experience with electrical design and can read and create electrical and control diagrams
• Fluently master English in both speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have experience from the energy, oil and gas, process, or infrastructure sectors, as well as experience in technical requirement specification or system responsibility.
