Work Instructor at Stocket Reuse – Transport and Furniture Handling
Stockholm – our capital city of millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone who lives here today and in the future. We are now looking for you who want to think big, new, and different with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Stockholm is flourishing as the country's leading growth region. We work for a labor market where everyone can find their place – where employers find the right competence and where people get the opportunity to enter or return to working life. We support Stockholmers' journey towards work or studies through labor market measures and adult education.
This is Jobbtorg Stockholm
Jobbtorg Stockholm is a department within the Labor Market Administration of Stockholm City that works with labor market measures. Around 500 employees work among us at 24 units across the city.
Those of us who work within Jobbtorg Stockholm:
- Work towards goals and change direction when conditions change
- See the big picture and consider the broader perspective
- Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues
For employees, this means demonstrating high self-leadership, and for managers, it means demonstrating trust-based leadership. Read more about what this means further down in the advertisement.
Welcome to the Stocket Reuse unit – part of Jobbtorg Stockholm
Here, you will become part of a team of 5 people – 1 group leader, 3 work instructors, and 1 caretaker. We have close collaboration within the group, share knowledge, and support each other in daily life. We now need to strengthen the assignment with a focus on transport and furniture handling.
Within the unit, we work closely as a team to best support participants towards self-sufficiency. You will join a work group that is flexible and service-oriented in its daily operations towards our clients.
Our Assignment
Stockholm is growing, and we work to ensure that all Stockholmers can participate in the labor market.
The Labor Market Administration supports people on their way to work or studies through various measures. Stocket Reuse is one of these measures and has a city-wide assignment to reuse furniture to reduce the city's carbon footprint.
Where We Are
Your position is based out of a warehouse in Skarpnäck, but most of the day is spent in a car together with participants whom you instruct in the work.
A Day With Us
A day at Stocket starts at 7:30 AM on-site for coffee and a discussion about the day's assignments. The work group on-site is divided based on attendance and the day's assignments. Some go out in the car with the day's transports, while others stay at the warehouse with other tasks, such as repairing furniture, advertising furniture, or working in the furniture laundry.

- The manager's responsibility is to work so that there is sufficient support and room for employees to take more responsibility, be self-reliant, and make decisions.
