Job Responsibilities

Here, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, providing individualized rehabilitation and preventive measures alongside a dedicated team focused on the patient.

We are currently looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist who wants to contribute to creating security and a better quality of life for our patients in Gävle.

About the role:

As an Occupational Therapist with us, you work to promote the patient's independence and their ability to live a meaningful daily life. The work is varied and includes preventive, rehabilitative/habilitative, and compensatory measures within home healthcare and care and nursing homes.

You conduct assessments of functional capacity, plan and follow up on rehabilitative measures, and prescribe assistive devices based on the patient's needs and goals. The role involves close collaboration with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff, where you are a key part of the team surrounding the patient.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B) and good driving experience
• Are flexible and solution-oriented when meeting the needs of different individuals
• Have good skills in planning, prioritizing, and working independently
• Have good collaboration skills and thrive in team environments
• Are empathetic, responsive, and have a professional approach

It is an advantage if you:

• Have a few years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Have experience working in home healthcare or elderly care
