Working on the Night Patrol gives you a great variety of care and technical tasks. The goal of your assignment is to, in line with Strängnäs Municipality's vision "Together and with the resident's benefit in focus, we create the sustainable municipality of the future in the heart of Mälardalen", provide security for individuals through good service and care for persons with night patrol intervention with/without security alarms in ordinary housing within the municipality.

About 20 employees work on the night patrol, and you will be based in our new premises, "The Whole" ("Helheten"). We are now looking for a nursing assistant for a 85% position in our operations! The working hours are scheduled for nights.

WORK TASKS

Your task in this role is to provide good service and care to individuals in their own homes. The work is primarily done in pairs, but in exceptional cases, independent work may occur. You are responsible for night interventions and fixed home care interventions, as well as planning and documentation both individually and together with colleagues. The work may involve varying home environments, where there may be pets or cigarette smoke. You also perform health and medical care tasks according to delegation from licensed personnel, which requires precision and responsibility. Administrative tasks within the unit are also part of the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

educated as a nursing assistant.
experience in care and nursing, preferably within home care or similar operations.
experience in performing health and medical care tasks according to delegation from licensed personnel (HSL).
accustomed to documenting and has experience following routines and reporting to colleagues and responsible personnel.
valid B driver's license.
good ability to express yourself clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is also meritorious if you have:

knowledge and experience with security alarms in ordinary housing.
experience with planning systems such as Alfa and/or medical record systems Treserva.
experience with handling digital locks.

We are looking for someone who is secure, responsible, and empathetic, with the ability to work both independently and together with colleagues. You are calm, observant, and flexible, and show respect for the user's habits and home environment. The position requires good physical and mental endurance as well as the ability to handle unexpected situations in a calm and professional manner.
