What does the job as a nurse assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?

As a nurse assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring our residents have a secure and meaningful life in their golden years. We always base our care on the resident's own wishes and abilities, focusing on their strengths. As a nurse assistant/care aide, you are responsible for providing dignified and high-quality care and support based on the individual needs of the elderly. Common tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, meal service, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. Simply put, a very exciting job!

About Hagtorp Elderly Care Home

Hagtorp is an elderly care home in Kungsängen with 36 places (somatic & dementia) for both permanent and short-term stays. Each unit has a kitchen, dining room, living room, and a balcony or outdoor area where we socialize, eat meals, and conduct activities.

Hagtorp has a large and beautiful garden with paths that are perfect for short walks and daily outdoor time.

You will find Hagtorp at Hjortronvägen 121 in Kungsängen, close to greenery and walking trails.

As a summer substitute with us, you get access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary. In the app, you can, for example, see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payment, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn on an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the possibility to withdraw part of the earned salary for extra/hourly shifts directly after the shift is completed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.

• You have a nurse assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 credits.
• Previous experience in elderly care is highly meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We would like you to have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Other information

Employment type: Summer substitute (Night shifts)

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
