About the Role

This is a role for you who enjoys hands-on work with technology – and at the same time taking responsibility for the big picture.

You work in a test environment that mimics real production, where products are developed, tested, and improved before being implemented globally. The role is both operational and coordinating, with many contact points, both locally and internationally.

Your main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of equipment related to experimental presses.
• Plan and conduct tests – including schedules, measurements, and follow-ups.
• Analyze, document, and report results.
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with requirements for safety, quality, and compliance.
• Initiate and drive improvements of processes and equipment.
• Develop measurement methods and test equipment.
• Manage contacts with suppliers, contractors, and colleagues globally.
• Initiate purchases of spare parts and equipment.
• Create risk analyses and contribute to a structured and safe way of working.

You will have a central role where you both drive your own work and contribute to the whole, with the opportunity to eventually take on a more leadership role.

About You

We believe you have a technical background but above all a strong mechanical interest and manual skills.

Perhaps you are a mechanic by trade, or have worked with operation, maintenance, or production in a technical environment.

We would like you to have:

• Experience working with machines, maintenance, or production technology.
• Good understanding of mechanics, preferably also hydraulics and/or welding.
• Experience of practical work in technical environments where problem-solving is a natural part.
• Experience with documentation, reporting, and structured working methods.
• Experience with planning, coordination, or improvement work.
• Very good knowledge of English as you have international contact points in the role.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the paper industry or other process industries.
