The Role of Assistant Nurse

Here, you will work at the district nurse clinic. At the clinic, you will have your own consultation room where you meet patients for procedures such as suturing, wound dressing changes, blood pressure checks, ECGs, blood tests, and bladder scans. Responsibilities also include managing the supply room, laundry, and cleaning/dishwashing duties. We are constantly working on development and improvement, so your skills and commitment will be a valuable asset to us and our patients.

This is a fixed-term position at 100% for 3–6 months, with a possibility of extension. You will work daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

Your Future Workplace

Bra Liv Gnosjö Health Centre is a medium-sized health centre with approximately 9,700 registered patients and is the only health centre in Gnosjö Municipality. We are part of Bra Liv Health Centres, the county council-run primary care provider in Jönköping County, consisting of 31 health centres close to our patients across the county. Gnosjö Health Centre employs approximately 45 people from various professions. We constantly strive to satisfy our patients, and everyone is involved in improvement work. Together, we provide care with care, a holistic approach, and quality in focus.

Your Profile

Requirements include being a trained Assistant Nurse, as well as experience in outpatient work in primary or specialized care and experience with blood sampling. We believe you are stable, proactive, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions, with a desire and ability to help others.

You can handle different patients with various illnesses and moods. The work requires you to be independent and able to structure your own work with an understanding of the big picture. You collaborate well with others and adapt easily to changing circumstances. Personal suitability is highly valued.
