ABOUT THE JOB
We are now looking for a Facility Technician (Operations) with a supervisory role within the Property Unit.
A new exciting position has opened up within the Property Unit, where you will work both in the field as a facility technician and as a supervisor within the unit. In the field, you will work with operations (inspection and maintenance), fault resolution, and maintenance of Lycksele Municipality's properties. Your supervisory role involves leading and supporting employees in their daily work. Tasks included in the role include, for example, long-term planning of tasks, coordination of on-call duties, conducting safety rounds and inspections, leading projects, etc. Some administrative work is also part of the role. The tasks may change over time and as needed.
The Property Unit consists of about ten property caretakers who work largely in groups. The team is characterized by a very good atmosphere and cohesion. Here, you will work alongside experienced colleagues while developing through your independent work.

You should have a genuine interest in working with people and a desire to bring out motivation in individuals. In your supervisory role, you can support employees and give them room to perform their tasks. As a leader, you can relate to others and have the ability to engage people around you through sensitivity, good cooperation skills, and enthusiasm.
You are passionate about delivering good service. To thrive in the field, you should be self-reliant but also have good cooperation skills, as you work both independently and in a group. You should be able to communicate well in Swedish and preferably also in English.
We are primarily looking for you who have previous experience in performing service and maintenance work. We are also open to the possibility that you have a practical education in a trade as a foundation. A B-class driver's license and basic computer skills are requirements for the position.
