About the unit:

Smedjevägen 28A is a group home with six places, catering to individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities of varying degrees. Smedjevägen 28 is located in the community of Urshult in Tingsryd Municipality. Currently, approximately 15 residential support workers are employed at the unit, along with a responsible group leader on-site.

About the role:

In the role of a residential support worker, you always base your actions on the individual needs and wishes of our users. You provide support and assistance in their daily lives using a pedagogical approach. Together with your colleagues, you work to make daily life meaningful and rich for those living in the group home. Duties include, but are not limited to, personal care and nursing, cooking, cleaning, laundry, participating in social activities, medication management, providing communication support, and supporting users in day activities. A key part of the daily work is to work in a motivating and supportive manner, giving our users good opportunities to develop their individual abilities. You will also document and work based on the individual implementation plans that each user has.

Experience and knowledge:

You who apply for these positions have a high school education in care and nursing or another education deemed equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience working with this target group is an advantage. Employment type: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
