About Primary Care

Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, together with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care". Primary care is organized into four local care areas, each being an economic unit led by a business manager. We are also responsible for the region's healthcare advice, youth clinic, and the local care ward Näva.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a district nurse at a health center traditionally involves common tasks such as patient reception, telephone advice, and working in teams together with doctors and other staff. The work is varied, and urgent tasks occur. Depending on your educational background and interests, there are opportunities for specialization.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Registered District Nurse (Legitimerad distriktssköterska).
