District Nurse for Bräcke Health Centre

Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, along with Ambulance, Public Dental Health, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into 4 close care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care." Each close care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice line, youth clinic, and the close care unit Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Bräcke Health Centre is a well-functioning center with a stable permanent staff group. We work with a strong team spirit. Our team includes medical secretaries, doctors, district nurses, assistant nurses, midwives, psychologists, counselors, rehab coordinators, and physiotherapists. What distinguishes Bräcke Health Centre from city health centers is that we handle everything; people who would normally seek emergency care if they lived in a city come to us. This makes the work very varied, offering a good mix of traditional health center work and more acute cases.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a district nurse/nurse at Bräcke Health Centre involves traditionally common tasks at a health center, such as reception work, telephone advice, and teamwork with doctors and other staff. The work is also highly varied, with acute tasks occurring regularly. Depending on your educational background and interests, there may also be opportunities for a specialist area, such as a coordination role in close care, diabetes nurse, child nurse, or asthma/COPD nurse.

If you are interested in the coordination role for close care, opportunities exist to base your work from Gällö, Bräcke, or Kälarne. You have great flexibility to plan your work based on the assignment.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse or further education as a district nurse or in elderly care.
• Genuine interest in people and a patient-focused approach.
• Engaged, proactive, and responsible.
• Experience in similar roles is an advantage.
