Description

The team you will become part of consists of one additional construction worker/pipefitter, an excavator operator, and a truck driver. Together, you form an efficient pipefitter team with the support and guidance of the foreman.

Your tasks will include:

• Performing excavation, pipe laying, and ground work on water and sewage (VA) pipelines, as well as other construction work within the operational area.
• Performing maintenance measures in connection with VA readiness.
• Participating in on-call readiness (may be required).

The work is carried out in the form of projects or assignments of varying size and scope. Working hours are 07:00 to 16:00, and the position is based in Sunne.

Public Environment primarily works with contracting work on water and sewage pipeline networks, as well as maintenance measures related to VA readiness and other construction work.

The Public Environment unit is a workplace with close collaboration, where the needs of the operation guide our common priorities. The role involves participating in and contributing to the tasks that arise within the unit, and having the ability to work flexibly and support colleagues when needed.

Who are you?

We are looking for an engaged and proactive pipefitter/construction worker with strong teamwork skills. Good service comes naturally to you, and you thrive in a job with significant customer contact. You have a good ability to plan your work and can adapt to changing circumstances. As a pipefitter/construction worker, you will work with various types of pipe laying jobs, which means you need to be flexible. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Your Experience

We are looking for you with a background in construction work. If you also have knowledge within VA (water and sewage), it is a great advantage.

A few years of professional experience is an advantage, but we place great emphasis on your engagement, your willingness to develop within construction and pipe fitting, and that you meet the following requirements for the position:

• Experience with construction work in the ground. Experience with external VA work is meritorious.
• Completed upper secondary education in construction and infrastructure or equivalent competence acquired through professional life.
• Computer literacy (as we work with digital reporting).
• Category B driver's license and loader operator license.
• Experience with plastic welding is meritorious.
