Hospitals in the West is an administrative division within the Region of Västra Götaland and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Primary Care Hospital, Högsbo Primary Care Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3,000 employees work with us every day to provide good, safe, and high-quality specialist healthcare.

Welcome to the Radiology Clinic, Alingsås Hospital

The radiology department has a broad general radiology practice involving CT, MRI, ultrasound, minor interventions, and conventional examinations. The team we are looking for is engaged and diverse in age, gender, and culture. Here you will find joy in work, and we offer stimulating, varied, and developmental tasks.

We are approximately 35 employees who together perform over 43,000 examinations per year. We use a rotation schedule with individual variations, working days, evenings, and weekends. We only have night on-call duty because the Emergency Department at Alingsås Hospital closes at 21:00.

You will work within most parts of the radiology operations, which provides variety and the opportunity to broaden your competence.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed radiographer. You master Swedish in speech and writing. You thrive working in a team and find collaboration easy. You appreciate a creative and pleasant work environment and are keen to contribute to such an environment yourself. You are interested in developing the work and operations. A patient-focused approach is a matter of course for you. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
