In addition to nursing care, our family at the Support and Care Department consists of LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), the catering unit, Employment and Integration (AMI), and Individual and Family Care (IFO).

The municipality's short-term care unit, Eken, is located in Hammarstrand, close to Nyviksvägen SÄBO, and consists of 10 care beds. Care assistants/care assistants work around the clock at the short-term unit. There is a nurse during daytime hours, and as needed, also a physiotherapist and occupational therapist.

Job Responsibilities

Do you have a genuine interest in working with people? Do you like to work flexibly and meet new people? Then we have a job for you as a Care Assistant at Nyviksvägen Short-term Unit Eken.

As a Care Assistant, you provide personal care, service, and support by motivating and stimulating based on the individual's needs and conditions. The work includes both medical and rehabilitative interventions performed under delegation from licensed personnel. In this role, it is important that you have the ability to see each person's needs, are meticulous, and take responsibility. You enjoy working with older people, have high empathy, are receptive, have a good manner of dealing with people, and good teamwork skills. We work to create social content in everyday life and a meaningful existence. Contact with relatives is an important part of our work, and we value the good relationship.

You are part of a work team in your unit but are flexible in supporting colleagues in other units. Working hours vary with shifts according to schedule, day, evening, and weekend. Ragunda Municipality applies flexible working hours using the scheduling tool Multi Access.

We are looking for two full-time Care Assistants for our residence.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Care Assistant education.

In working with our citizens, a dignified manner of dealing with people and a warm interest in working with people are very important. You should have a positive outlook, good teamwork skills, and be responsible. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

It is a requirement that you can understand and make yourself understood in Swedish so that you can communicate with residents, relatives, and staff. It is also important that you are computer literate and can express yourself well in writing in Swedish, as documentation is an important part of the work.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience from previous work in rehabilitative activities.
• Experience as a hygiene representative.
• Worked with contact person duties.
• Had medication delegation, including more advanced tasks.
