The role of Procurement Manager with us

We are now looking for a Procurement Manager for our procurement organization, Services Category Team.

The Services Category Team handles a broad spectrum of service areas, including technical consulting services, occupational health care, and services within finance and insurance.

As a Procurement Manager, you are responsible for the entire purchasing process, from needs analysis and dialogue with operations to procurement and contract follow-up. You drive your own procurements within the relevant category and ensure they are conducted in a business-like, professional manner and in accordance with current laws.

We work on a category basis, and in this role, you will become a key player in our development journey where each category has a dedicated Procurement Manager. Together with other colleagues, you drive improvement work, develop working methods, and strengthen efficiency and robustness in the entire procurement organization.

You will have an important role in our strategic procurement work. The role involves that, in addition to operational procurement work, you lead and coordinate the work and development within your category team in close cooperation with your colleagues in the category team. You will also work closely with the other Procurement Managers for our four other categories. Together, we contribute to creating an efficient, sustainable, and future-proof procurement function.

Your profile

To succeed in the role of Procurement Manager with us, you have a good ability to work in a structured and efficient manner, even with several ongoing projects. You have a consultative, service-oriented, and business-minded mindset, as well as good problem-solving skills. You thrive with many contacts and are communicative and relationship-building, which contributes to good cooperation both internally and externally. You are receptive and have an optimistic attitude towards changes, and you are happy to come up with new approaches to work-related issues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We place great emphasis on your personal skills and abilities.

We are looking for you who:

• have a university degree in economics or law, or a University College degree (YH) in procurement/procurement combined with another post-secondary education. Alternatively, several years of experience in independent work with business within public operations
• through work experience and in-depth knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) can apply the regulations to conduct public procurements from start to finish
• are accustomed to conducting early dialogues with the supplier market
• have work experience of active strategic procurement work

It is meritorious with:

• experience of driving contract groups with a focus on effect realization and benefit realization
• experience of category-based/strategic procurement work
• experience of development work/change management
• experience of service procurements including technical consultants through the use of ABK09
