The Role of the Nurse

The work as a nurse in our unit involves specific and qualified nursing care for patients with acute heart conditions. We work in a team with a clear focus on good nursing care and patient safety. Together with a nursing assistant, you lead the daily nursing work, which is provided based on the individual needs of the patient. It is important that dialogue and interaction with the patient always take place in a professional and respectful manner, where patient safety is our highest priority.

Your Future Workplace

Medicine E is the largest unit of the medical clinic, featuring a care ward, a cardiac intensive care unit, and a coronary care unit. Adjacent to this are also our pacemaker unit, cardiology outpatient clinic, and anticoagulation outpatient clinic. We work with investigating and treating various heart diseases such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmias. We also care for patients before and after various types of heart surgeries. On the care ward, we have 16 care beds distributed across two care teams.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a strong interest in cardiac care. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience working on a care ward and from emergency healthcare. We value good teamwork skills and a flexible working approach to quickly adapt to situations that may arise. As a person, you are calm, meticulous, and attentive to the patient's needs. We value our work environment where we contribute with engagement, joy in work, and positivity.

We offer you a permanent position, full-time with work during days, evenings, nights, and weekends according to individual scheduling. Start date is by agreement.
