Grill Cook at Restaurang Gränden

Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen AB, located in central Malmö, aims to provide guests with a comprehensive entertainment experience through our various concepts. Here you will find everything from pubs and restaurants to nightclubs, wine cellars, banquet halls, street food kitchens, and our popular summer terrace, Gränden.

We constantly strive to give our guests that little extra in terms of atmosphere, service, and gastronomic experience. Restaurang Gränden, part of Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen and opening in late May, primarily serves grilled food as well as classic à la carte and buffet options. We are now looking for ambitious and engaged cooks to join our team. The role will likely involve working during lunch, dinner, brunch, and weekends, or a combination of these shifts.

The position primarily involves traditional cooking from scratch, focusing on meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. We prefer candidates with several years of experience as a cook and familiarity with preparing food via grilling and frying at a fast pace. An innovative approach to cooking is desirable, as is comfort working within a relatively established food concept.

As a person, you are cheerful, ambitious, stress-resistant, and reliable. You are passionate about providing guests with the best possible dining experience through your attention to detail and innovative mindset. You have good knowledge of food handling and hygiene, and a certified training course in these areas is required. You are a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment. For the sake of our guests, we prefer that you are smoke- and snus-free.

There is an opportunity to work in other areas of Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen, such as S:t Markus Wine Cellar. For the right candidate, there are excellent development opportunities within the company, which can lead to a more senior role in the kitchen.

The position is available as full-time, part-time, or on an as-needed basis. You will report to the Head Chef.
