Do you want to work with us?

Are you a confident assistant nurse with extensive experience in elderly care and a genuine interest in operational development? Are you ready to take on a new challenge in an exciting organization where you lead and engage others? Then perhaps you are who we are looking for as Team Leader at Storängsgården!

Storängsgården is a specialized housing facility just south of Finspång center, focusing on care and dementia housing. We also have a department with a Finnish profile. We offer pleasant premises including a gym, assembly hall, activity room, sunroom, and hair salon. There are also beautiful inner courtyards with space for activities and socializing. Here, internal and external actors collaborate to provide the residents with good care and support. Respected therapy dogs also work in the facility.

Your future responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you strengthen the operational support for the unit's two managers. You do not have formal responsibility for operations, economy, or personnel, but you support management in these processes.

You plan, structure, and lead the daily care work through collaboration, supervision, and close leadership. You identify and map needs, implement measures, and follow up on the work. You are also involved in developing and implementing new working methods to ensure quality and efficiency. The role is a combination position where you alternate between care work in the regular team and administrative and strategic responsibilities delegated by the manager.

In your role as Team Leader, you are responsible for, among other things:

  • Structuring, distributing, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Managing parts of the unit's staffing.
  • Planning and leading internal and cross-professional meetings.
  • Coordinating efforts and actors regarding users.
  • Supporting and supervising colleagues in user cases, working methods, and group processes.
  • Grounding and breaking down overarching goals into concrete, unit-specific tasks.
  • Acting as decision support.
  • Handling deviations.
  • Producing statistics and background material.

What can we offer you?

We offer you employment in an exciting and eventful organization where you have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the organization, your colleagues, and yourself. The role of Team Leader is as interesting and enjoyable as it is challenging and developmental. You become part of the management group together with four Team Leader colleagues and are offered regular group supervision.

You work full-time, 37 hours per week. Working hours are primarily during daytime on weekdays and holidays, as well as two out of four weekends. Evening work occurs based on the organization's needs.

Who are you?

The Team Leader role is multifaceted and requires very good professional knowledge combined with the ability to supervise and engage others. Therefore, we are looking for you who are a skilled assistant nurse with proof of a protected professional title and extensive experience in elderly care. You are a team player who promotes cooperation, communication, and participation. At the same time, you are confident in making independent decisions and taking on a leading role.

As a leader, you are clear, listening, and humble. You have the ability to see people's potential and bring out the best in each individual. You act from a holistic perspective, always with the organization's mission and best interests in focus. This means you make decisions based on quality, development, and economic sustainability.

As an employee, you are responsible, engaged, and service-oriented. You are used to working towards set goals and tackle challenges with a solution-focused approach. Furthermore, you care about and actively work for a good working environment for both yourself and your colleagues.

We assume that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Leadership experience is meritorious, as is an assistant nurse education with a relevant specialization. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Selection and interviews take place continuously, so please send in your application today!
