Description

We are now looking for a nurse for the home care service in special housing (SÄBO) in Bollnäs Municipality. Home care is a collective term for the health care provided for a shorter or longer period in ordinary and special housing.

As a nurse within SÄBO, you are an important part of the team around the patient, where you have leadership responsibility for health care. Our primary target group is the elderly and/or individuals with disabilities. The position involves close cooperation with other professions such as care staff, managers, rehabilitation, doctors, and external actors such as primary and inpatient care. Work and cooperation also take place in parallel with the home care nurses, especially on-call hours during evenings and weekends. We provide person-centered care around each individual and cooperate for the best possible conditions for a good quality of life.

We are now looking for a nurse for the special housing at Karlslund in central Bollnäs. At Karlslund, four competent nursing colleagues work with responsibility for different departments. You will become the fifth with responsibility for your own departments.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, follow up, and document health care interventions based on each individual. As a nurse in special housing, a large part of the work is to collaborate, lead, and delegate decided interventions.

We work primarily during daytime, but on-call work occurs through duty every sixth weekend and approximately six evenings during a 12-week period. We apply a full-time equivalent of 37 hours per week.

We use the business system Treserva.

The position is within Bollnäs Municipality.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who enjoy working both independently and collaborating in a team, who can work structured and simultaneously be flexible as tasks may vary. It is important that you as a nurse are secure in your professional role, have empathetic ability, and can prioritize.

Registered Nurse (RN).

Experience/Specialized training/continuing education is meritorious.

Conditions

Category B driver's license.
