Are you a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist wanting to make a difference for children and young people?

BUP (Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) in Hudiksvall is now looking for an engaged psychiatric nurse who wants to be part of our team. BUP is tasked with assessing, investigating, and treating children and young people aged 0 to 17 with moderate to severe mental health issues. The BUP clinic in Hudiksvall covers Northern Hälsingland. The staff currently consists of doctors, psychologists, counselors, nurses, nursing assistants, treatment personnel, and secretaries. We have a functioning collaboration with actors within the municipality and the region.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will work in a stimulating and developing environment where you make a difference for children and adolescents with mental health issues. You will become part of a professional team working to provide the best possible care for our patients.

As a psychiatric nurse with us, you will among other things work with:

• assessing and planning interventions for children and young people with mental health issues
• participating in and leading treatment and conversations, both individually and in groups
• medication follow-up, providing information and support during medication treatment
• telephone advice
• documenting interventions and follow-up.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who collaborate well with others and are accommodating, calm, and responsive in your approach. You take responsibility for your tasks and plan and organize your work in an efficient manner.

In the role of psychiatric nurse, you must be:

• a registered nurse with specialist education in psychiatry.

Experience from child and adolescent psychiatry is meritorious.
