Job Description

In the role of dietitian at the Women's Clinic, you will work broadly within both inpatient and outpatient care, focusing on nutritional treatment and dietary counseling for patients with various healthcare needs within women's health services. The majority of the position will be directed towards outpatient care in the county.

The duties include among other things:

• Dietary information and follow-up for patients with gestational diabetes, both individually and in groups, as well as support to the diabetes team.
• Regular dietary lectures for groups in connection with pregnancy.
• Nutritional assessment and individual treatment for patients under investigation or waiting for surgical or oncological treatment.
• Assessment and treatment prior to planned surgical procedures according to current guidelines.
• Nutritional support for inpatients as well as outpatient follow-up after care period.
• Dietary counseling for selected patient groups before and during treatment for involuntary childlessness.
• Support for contact nurses and other healthcare staff regarding nutritional screening, dietary registration, and choice of intervention.
• Individual nutritional treatment for patients with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, both inpatient and outpatient.
• Educational initiatives for healthcare staff and responsibility for updating nutritional material, guidelines, and educational support.
• Participation in development work and further development of the dietitian's role within the various units of the Women's Clinic.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian. Experience of working within healthcare as well as with pregnant or gynecological patients is meritorious, but even you who are a recent graduate are welcome to apply.

You have good communication skills, work independently and systematically, and can prioritize and assess the need for dietitian intervention. You thrive in teams, contribute actively to development work, and have a professional and positive approach.
