We are gradually expanding our rehabilitation team and therefore, in connection with upcoming retirements, need to hire two additional occupational therapists.

Here, you work in a small, engaged, and tight-knit rehabilitation team where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants collaborate closely with patients. In addition to working within the rehab team, we also work closely with nurses and care staff.

As an occupational therapist here, you work within municipal primary healthcare and meet patients in ordinary housing, special housing, short-term care, as well as BMSS and daily activities within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The work is varied, independent, and takes place close to the patient.

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist here, you focus on making everyday life functional and meaningful for people with reduced activity capacity, mainly through home visits, prescription of assistive devices, and housing adaptations. You assess, train, and adapt the environment to increase independence in cases of physical or cognitive difficulties. You often work with supervision and education of care staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed occupational therapist.
• Genuine interest in elderly and vulnerable patients.
• Independent, flexible, responsible, and team-oriented.
• Valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

Previous experience in municipal primary healthcare is meritorious but not a requirement. We are looking for someone who fits into and complements our team.
