We are now looking for a Cook for the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency in Sandö.

Your Responsibilities

Together with the rest of the restaurant staff, you will be responsible for preparing all meals. The menu varies between traditional Swedish home cooking, special diets, international cuisine, and à la carte options for our students and staff within our educational operations at MSB Sandö. Other common tasks include planning, cleaning the restaurant premises, dishwashing, and self-control in accordance with current legislation.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has:

• A hotel and restaurant education or equivalent experience that we assess as comparable.
• Experience working in restaurant kitchens or large-scale kitchens.
• Good computer skills and good verbal and written proficiency in Swedish.
• A valid B-class driver's license.

The following is considered meritorious:

• Experience in public administration.

About the Position

We offer you a permanent full-time position, starting with a probationary period.

Your workplace will be in Sandö, and the role involves occasional travel. Working hours are scheduled and include evenings and weekends.

About Us

The position is located in the boarding school section 2. The school section's task is to provide course and conference services, student services, the agency's telephone exchange, and reception. This includes hotel, restaurant, and facility maintenance services, as well as ongoing contact with the landlord regarding daily operations and maintenance of the premises.
