Job Description

Your duties include leading and distributing daily work, as well as participating in the preparation of daily meals, which also includes special diets. You will plan and develop meals and cook delicious, flavorful food that students appreciate.

Your role includes, among other things, ensuring the kitchen meets set goals, managing the kitchen's economy and self-control, HACCP, planning and making purchases, reviewing invoices, calculating waste, and handling the Mashie system.

The work schedule involves rotating tasks, including standard duties such as dishwashing, serving, and cleaning.

We apply work rotation in the operations, and you will initially be placed at Gudlav Bilder School, where ski gymnasium students, among others, are trained and prepared for success.

You may later be assigned to another unit within Meal Service as your workplace.

Qualifications

The role of Head Chef requires you to be flexible, responsive, and communicative to lead and inspire. The work involves contact with new people and situations.

We are looking for you who:

• are a trained chef with several years of experience leading staff in large kitchens.
• have experience developing kitchen operations and working in a service-oriented manner.
• are accustomed to using IT and data as support in your work.
• can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• have knowledge of current regulations and guidelines.
• have knowledge of special diets.

We appreciate that you are confident and self-reliant. You have a good ability to create engagement in the kitchen.

You need to see the value of a "we-feeling" and a united Meal Service.

It is meritorious if you have experience with the food data system Mashie.
