Do you want to work in a secure, experienced team and help develop our educational health centre? Then this might be the job for you.
Valsta Health Centre is part of Stockholm County Council (SLSO), one of Sweden's largest healthcare providers. We are located in southwestern Märsta in Sigtuna Municipality and have approximately 4,500 registered patients.
We are now looking for a fourth General Practitioner Specialist who wants to help realize our ambition to be a strong educational health centre.
At Valsta Health Centre, over 20 employees work: psychologists, physiotherapist, asthma and COPD nurse, diabetes nurse, and rehabilitation coordinator (REKO), among others. We work long-term with quality and improvements and have good conditions for further education. With us, you will meet a cheerful, secure, and engaged team. We have an asylum reception and are also responsible for healthcare at the Swedish Migration Agency's detention unit in Märsta, Arlandastad.

Job Responsibilities
As a General Practitioner Specialist with us, you work with all the usual tasks at a health centre. You assess and treat both acute and chronic diseases and receive patients of all ages for both acute and planned visits. An important part of the assignment is preventive work, for example, counseling regarding lifestyle habits.
The position also includes home care, and this assignment can be shared with another doctor. Work at the Swedish Migration Agency's detention unit may occur. There is also the possibility to work at our child health centre for half a day to one day per month.
You have a central role in our educational assignment. You supervise junior doctors, licensed doctors, AT-doctors, and ST-doctors and contribute to creating a good learning environment at the health centre.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a General Practitioner Specialist or an ST-doctor in General Practice during the last year of training. You have experience working in primary care and are accustomed to working in the medical record system TakeCare. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing, as well as a B-driver's license. Multilingualism is an asset in our operations.
It is meritorious if you have experience from Region Stockholm as a general specialist, advanced experience with TakeCare, and experience in child healthcare.

Employment Type
The position is a permanent full-time position. Probationary employment may be applied. Start date is by agreement.

- register checks are applied before decisions on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational healthcare before employment.
- requires, in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding regarding non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
