We are looking for an in-house Motor Technician for our Damage Department. Are you interested in motor damage adjustment and driven by helping customers in the best way possible? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

The Damage Department is responsible for handling insurance cases quickly and easily through flexible damage adjustment. We currently have around 950 employees nationwide who ensure that customers are satisfied and receive treatment characterized by personality, engagement, and responsibility.

What you will do as an in-house Motor Technician at Folksam

As a Motor Technician, you are responsible for keeping our vehicle costs at the right level and ensuring that repairs are carried out safely and in an environmentally friendly manner. You are responsible for good cost control and handle damages in accordance with Folksam's established guidelines.

Your main tasks include:

• Handling calculations from workshops and ensuring that agreements with them are followed
• Adjusting and registering fire damage and glass damage cases coming in from customers via phone and email
• Communicating decisions to customers and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
• Documenting cases in various systems and paying out invoices
• Ensuring a good customer experience and good cooperation with all stakeholders in the damage case.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on vehicle technology. You have a few years of experience as a bodywork technician, vehicle mechanic, and/or workshop foreman, and are accustomed to handling customers. We would like you to have experience with cost calculations of damages in Cabas, as well as being certified in CAB. Additionally, you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English and are accustomed to handling IT systems efficiently.

As a person, you collaborate well with others and remain calm in stressful situations, while maintaining a realistic perspective and focusing on the right things. You are clear in your communication and accommodating towards customers, and have the desire and ability to help others and deliver solutions. Furthermore, you act in a business-like manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive processes forward. You also make quick decisions and show judgment under time pressure.
