We are looking for a teacher in the subject of Technology for Vindelälvsskolan in Sorsele Municipality. The position also includes the opportunity to be a dual-teacher in subjects you feel confident in and/or to join the municipality's substitute pool.

Tasks:

You will teach the subject of Technology. Your teaching will cover grades 4 to 9. You are expected to collaborate with colleagues who have other subjects, and the pedagogical leadership from the principal encourages cooperation across subject boundaries.

As a technology teacher in primary school, you are responsible for giving students a broad and curious entry into the subject of technology. You help them understand how technology affects their daily lives, how technical systems work, and how they themselves can create, construct, and solve problems in creative ways. Higher courses include programming, and your experience in this area can be advantageous.

As a complement to your work as a Technology teacher, you will be a dual-teacher in subjects you master, such as mathematics, Swedish, and English, or in some social studies or nature-oriented subjects. The position can also partly involve joining the municipality's substitute pool as a teacher.

Your work involves teaching students with different prerequisites and abilities, and we expect that with your formative approach, you have a great ability to meet students where they are in their development.

Furthermore, we see that you are a responsible, clear, and structured teacher in teaching situations, and have a positive and solution-focused approach. Competence/qualifications - requirements:

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility to teach technology up to grade 9.

If you are not formally eligible, you may still be relevant for the position. This depends on whether the employer considers you suitable for the assignment. We can also look over a competence development plan so that you can become formally eligible in the long run.

Advantageous qualifications are if you have current work experience with a few years of experience in teaching in primary school. It is also advantageous if you are trained in supervising teacher students, as well as if you have training within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Conditions).
