Our client in the Gothenburg region is facing one of its largest IT transformations ever. A global program is now rolling out new standard platforms for MES and Track & Trace in the factories in the Gothenburg region, with go-live in January 2027. In connection with this, a completely new Factory Systems Support (FSS) function is being built locally, and you will be one of the first people into that team.

This is not a helpdesk role. You are located on-site at the factory, owning incidents and requests from start to finish, and you are the face the business learns to trust when something goes wrong in production. You will first join the implementation project, where you will learn the systems from the ground up, and then transition into the role of L2 support for MES, T&T, and surrounding IT/OT solutions when everything goes live.

In this role, you will be hired on a permanent basis by us at TechSeed with an initial probation period. This is a targeted long-term project where you will become a direct part of the client's operations, and you will be interviewed by both TechSeed and our client to ensure a good and long-term match.

Since we are looking for long-term commitment, it is important that you find the project exciting and enjoy working in factory-adjacent environments.

For this role, we are looking for you with:

• Experience in support, preferably in a factory or industrial environment. We are open to both those with a few years of experience and those earlier in their career with the right foundation and drive.

• An educational background in factory automation, IoT, IT/OT, automation, industrial technology, or equivalent work experience.

It is an advantage if you have an understanding of OT concepts and experience with systems such as MES/MOM, or SCADA/PLC. We do not expect deep expertise in all areas; if you have the basics and know how an MES and a SCADA system communicate, you will go far.

Since we work closely with both Swedish operations and a global corporate organization, proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, is required for the role. The assignment is on-site in the factories in the Gothenburg region, and the training is also conducted entirely on-site.
