We are currently looking for a nurse/registered district nurse who wants to substitute for a colleague on parental leave. Now is your chance to join us!

The home healthcare service is shared with Abrahamberg's Health Centre and is run by an engaged team consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors. There are currently 230 registered patients.

Your responsibilities:

As a nurse in primary care, you will meet patients of all ages and from different cultures. The patients have a wide variety of diseases and problems. The work requires broad competence and independence. You work independently but in close collaboration with other nurses and doctors.

The work is primarily within home healthcare but can be mixed with work at the clinic.

Qualifications:

You must be a licensed nurse, preferably with further education as a district nurse. You have a few years of professional experience and are confident in your competence. Experience from primary care and home healthcare is advantageous. A B-class driver's license is required.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for you who have a positive attitude and contribute to a good work climate. You should be good at collaborating in a group but also comfortable working independently and making your own decisions. We believe you possess creativity and courage, making you willing to think new thoughts and dare to try new ideas. The workload can vary, which requires flexibility, stress tolerance, and a structured approach to work. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment type:

Temporary position with good opportunities for extension. Full time (100%). Working hours Monday–Friday. Start date ASAP or as agreed.

The position is subject to the condition that it does not need to be filled for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines.
  • Employees with patient contact must undergo a new hire medical examination via occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
