Do you want to be part of a lovely team that ensures our visitors have a safe and pleasant experience at the swimming hall?

We at Forshaga Municipality are now looking for a colleague for our swimming hall.

As a Lifeguard/Swimming Instructor in the swimming hall, you have a varied and responsible job where lifeguarding is a central part. You are responsible for the safety in and around the pool and ensure that all our guests feel safe and welcome. In addition to lifeguarding, the role includes swimming instruction for our school students, work at the reception and cafeteria where you meet our visitors, answer questions, and offer good service. The role also includes cleaning duties.

Qualifications

You are a competent swimmer, service-oriented, and enjoy working with people. You find it easy to collaborate and thrive in an environment where days can look different.

We value that you contribute to a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the swimming hall.

To work in the Swimming Hall, you need:

• Good swimming skills (swim 200 meters and retrieve a dummy from the bottom)
• Interest in working with people

It is an advantage if you have:

• CPR training
• Experience in similar work, baby swimming, or water aerobics
• Swimming instructor training
• Experience in cleaning/custodial work

Conditions

The position is permanent, with a probationary period possibly applied. Working hours will vary between days and evenings as well as weekends and weekdays.
