Part-time Property Caretaker – with excellent opportunities for full-time

About the role

As a property caretaker, you are responsible for the daily supervision, maintenance, and ongoing upkeep of the properties. The work is independent and requires you to plan and structure your working day efficiently. The position is initially at approximately 50 percent, but for the right candidate, there are excellent opportunities for the role to transition into a full-time position.

Main responsibilities

• Reporting faults and maintenance via digital property management systems.
• Systematic fire protection work (SBA).
• Minor repairs and simple carpentry tasks.
• Practical troubleshooting in the properties, such as adjusting and fixing door closers, changing locks, and replacing seals in mixers and similar related tasks.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with property management systems as well as practical experience with systematic fire protection work (SBA).
• Is technically inclined and handy when it comes to simple carpentry and repair work.
• Is completely self-motivated and has the ability to drive your own work forward, prioritize tasks correctly, and take initiative to solve problems.
• Possesses very good communication skills, as the role involves daily contact with residents, colleagues, and external contractors.
